Process of Working

STEP 1: To apply for the Scheme, the bride and groom must visit the DA/WEDPS in the Secretariat within 30 days of their marriage, or they can visit the official website and complete the application on their own.

STEP 2: The WEA/WWDS will receive the online and paper application forms.

Step 3: The WEA/WWDS will perform field verification, perform the bride, bridegroom, and bride’s mother’s KYC, and upload the required paperwork.

STEP 4: The application will be sent to MPDO/MC following WEA/WWDS verification.

Step 5: Every document and comment that the WEA/WWDS submits will be carefully examined by the MPDO/MC. The application will be sent to the PD-DRDA following a successful verification process.

Step 6: The PD-DRDA will start a six-step application validation procedure as soon as the documents are verified.

Step 7: The application and the applicant or applicants will be delivered to the District Collector’s office following the completion of the validation procedure.

Step 8: The application will be sent to the appropriate State Welfare Corporations after being approved by the District Collector.

Step 9: The relevant Corporations will handle the financial aid and disburse the money to the bride or the eligible bride’s mother, as appropriate.
